Item sale information (Including GSL Medicines)

GSL Medicines – Sale / Supply of General Sale List (GSL) Medicines

We do not deliver to private addresses or any business that offer retail sale via mail order houses or via online retailing such as Amazon or Ebay.

You are permitted to sell, supply any GSL medicine as long as it is pre-packed and supplied from a shop premises that can be locked from the public.

You cannot sell through Market Trading or Car Boot Sales.

We do not accept returns on GSL Medicine items due to conditions and procedures of our licence.

Sale of Knives & Blades

It is illegal to sell knives (and other similar products) to anyone under 18 years, unless it has a folding blade 3 inches long (7.62 cm) or less.

Sale of Household Firelighters and BBQ Charcoal

VAT is charged at 20% to resellers, as a wholesaler, reselling to a business, this is the rate that Homeware Essentials must charge in order to comply with HM Revenue & Customs regulations.

For a retailer selling to the end consumer, 5% VAT can be charged.
